Wimblington Short Mat Bowls

The Short Mat Bowl League games have now been completed.  We finished at about 3rd or 4th from the top but other teams still had other games to play.  We meet on  Wednesday afternoons at 2.00pm.  If you are interested in trying the game you will be made very welcome.  Please contact Russell Moulton 01354 740520.

 Parkfield Archery Club 

The club was  formed in 2001 and shoots at Parkfield Sports Club on Sunday mornings throughout the year  and on special evenings throughout the summer months.  The Club welcomes beginners and full instruction is provided on Club equipment.  Shooting is restricted to target archery under rules and  procedures of the Grand National Archery Society.  Recurve, compound and long bows are in use, but the Club does not permit crossbow shooting.  There is a lower age limit of ten years, no upper limit, and disabled archers are catered for within the limits of club facilities. Wimblington Cricket Club

Wimblington Cricket Club plays its home games at Parkfield Sports Club, with two senior teams operating in the Cambridgeshire Cricket Association leagues on Saturdays and playing friendly's on Sundays and on some midweek evenings. We also run a junior team playing their games on a Wednesday night.   New players, male and female, experienced or not, are always welcome and contact can be

Priory Golf Centre

The centre is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. until last ball at 8 p.m.  and on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. until last ball at 7 p.m.  The driving range has 8 indoor bays and 8 outdoor bays and is flood lit with a 250 yard drive.  There is a par 3 9 hole course.  Shortest is 56 yards and longest is 167 yards.  You can hire clubs or clubs and bag.  Tuition is available and you can buy custom made clubs and visit the fully stocked pro shop.  Light snacks, hot food and hot and cold drinks are available in the Tee Cafe.  Contact 01354 656251 for further information.

Wimblington Outside Bowls Club, Church Street:

We have a playing membership of around 24 players at present, which allows all members to play weekly if they want and to know in advance when their next game is.
We are a friendly club, who enjoy Monday night practise sessions during season, for players to pop along for a game or chat.
