Thomas Eaton School  in Wimblington is a community primary school providing  co-educational opportunities for children who reside in Wimblington and the hamlet of Stonea, although children from outside the catchment area are admitted if places are available.

Currently, the school has capacity for 210 children.  Priority admission is given to children from within the catchment area and those who have elder siblings at the school.

The Parent and Toddler Group meets at 10am every Thursday. The School offers a Playgroup which children can join after their third birthday, and then start their full-time education in the September of the year in which they become five.

Playgroup and Reception years enjoy the use of a large enclosed outdoor space.  Other facilities available include an outdoor Swimming Pool, The Sensory Garden, Computer Suite and the Library.

All of the school meals are freshly prepared and cooked on the school premises.

Thomas Eaton School is proud of the many links which it has forged within the community over the years.  It is actively involved in community events and supports the village Community Committee and the elderly of Wimblington. As part of the village twinning, we are also actively involved in sustaining and strengthening the links with our twinned schools in Morrazone, Italy.

Parents and members of the community are always welcome to support and enrich the children’s learning opportunities.  A wide range of extracurricular clubs also enhance the pupils’ experiences and the Parent Teacher Association works tirelessly in providing many extra resources for the children.
